We provide a selection of bins, boxes and bags to each household for you to sort and separate your waste and recycling.
The new reusable recycling bag and a roll of bags for soft plastics will be delivered in phases to all households by May 2026. You can start using them straight away.

Damaged bins
Black and green bins are occasionally damaged during the emptying process. If this happens leave your damaged bin in an accessible spot where we can see it.
We will visit and repair it within 10 working days. If it cannot be repaired the collection crews always carry spare bins so we can replace it there and then.
