Pre-driver training for people aged 16

We work in partnership with North Avon Driving Instructors Association (NADIA) to provide pre-driver training to 16 year olds.

The course is offered before people hold a licence. It is made up of theory sessions and ‘on-road’ training on a private road system.

Young driver training for people aged 17 to 24

We work in partnership with the Bristol Group of the Institute of Advanced Motorists (IAM) to address concerns over the number of young drivers who are involved in collisions.

Young drivers taking the advanced driver test with the IAM will get their course fee back if they successfully pass the test.

Driver refresher for people aged over 60

We run a free half day driver refresher event that can take place at your club or association.

During this event you can:

  • test your reactions on our driving simulator
  • have a driver eye test
  • speak to our partners such as the Police, Fire and Rescue and other relevant service providers
  • get a free copy of The Highway Code

It also includes a one-hour presentation covering The Highway Code, speed limits and advice and tips.

After the event we can offer a one hour assessed drive with a local Approved Driving Instructor.

If you are interested in booking this event we need a minimum of 20 attendees and a suitable room.
