Report tenancy fraud
Social housing provides safe, secure homes for people who need it.
We need to make sure that tenancy fraud is prevented so that public resources are used by those in genuine need.
Tenancy fraud is committed when a housing association home has been sub-let by the tenant to someone else. It may also be when someone puts false information on their application for a social housing tenancy.
You can report tenancy fraud if you know that someone is:
- not living in a housing association property as their main home
- letting a housing association property to someone else
- continuing to live in a housing association property after the tenant has left or died
- making false claims on an application for a social housing property
You can report fraud by calling our freephone hotline on 0800 694 0575.
All information received will be treated in confidence and acted on as appropriate. See our privacy notice for how we use your information.
