Warm and Well
Warm and Well is managed by sustainability charity Severn Wye on behalf of the seven local authorities in South Gloucestershire and Gloucestershire.
We have been working in partnership with them for over 20 years, improving energy efficiency and reducing the risk of fuel poverty.
Their resource library has lots of useful tips including information about home insulation and how to heat your home efficiently.
You can ask them for a home visit and details of accredited installers who specialise in heating and insulation.
Severn Wye offers:
- a fixed price survey to inspect homeowner properties and issue an EPC
- fully-funded energy improvements including tailored recommendations and insulation, heating and renewable upgrades through the Warm Homes Local Grant (subject to eligibility)
Contact the Warm and Well service on 0800 500 3076 for more information.
Retrofit West
Retrofit West is a project funded by the West of England Mayoral Combined Authority through its Green Recovery Fund.
If you are planning to upgrade your property’s insulation, heating system, or overall energy efficiency, the Retrofit West team offers free, independent and impartial advice to suit your budget. This includes support with understanding potential costs, energy savings and funding options. If you are a landlord, the team can advise on making your property compliant with government legislation.
You can speak to an expert over the phone or book a free home visit. They also offer up to 70% off professional home energy surveys.
