Register a building as a place of worship

You can register a building or room(s) as a place of worship. The application should be made by a person who acts as minister, proprietor or trustee of the place of worship.

How to apply

You will need to download 2 copies of the application form (known as Form 76). The same information needs to be given on both copies of the completed form.

You also need to provide:

• a building floor plan identifying which rooms will be used for worship
• an average weekly timetable for how the building will be used

A fee of £35.50 is payable at the time of application. Contact the Register Office by phone or email using the details below to arrange payment by credit or debit card.
