Roadworks licences and permit schemes

We manage a system of permits under traffic management regulations 2007 for highway authorities and utility companies who need to carry out roadworks and streetworks.

Permission must be obtained from us before any works are started and if any part of the road needs to be closed. Requests should be emailed to streetworks@southglos.gov.uk.

It can take between 6 to 12 weeks for requests to be processed.
