Nature reserves and woodlands

South Gloucestershire has many local nature reserves and woodlands.

Our reserves are for both people and wildlife. They support a wide variety of habitats including woodlands, wetlands, meadows and grasslands, rivers, lakes and ponds.

Many also support protected, rare or uncommon species.

Locations

We are responsible for 8 local nature reserves and 1 forest park. These are:

• Warmley Forest Park
