Grimsbury Farm is small community farm in Kingswood, South Gloucestershire.

You can visit all our animals for free. We have pigs, goats, cattle, donkeys, sheep, poultry and small animals.

Opening times

The farm is open from Tuesday to Sunday.

On Mondays the café, play park and duck pond are open but the main farm is closed.

Times

1 November to 31 March: 9am to 4pm

1 April to 31 October: 9am to 5pm

Bank holidays and school holidays

The whole farm is open on Monday bank holidays and Mondays during school holidays.

The farm usually closes between Christmas and New Year.

Admission

The farm is free to visit.

You can make a donation towards looking after the farm by:

  • putting money in our donation boxes
  • sending a cheque payable to: South Gloucestershire Council, Department for Place, Community Spaces, PO Box 1954, Bristol, BS370DD (write Grimsbury Farm on the back)

Large groups should book in advance by emailing grimsbury.farm@southglos.gov.uk.

Only assistance dogs are allowed to enter the farm. Smoking or vaping is not allowed anywhere on the on site.

Parking

We have a small free car park that opens at 9am.

If the car park is full, you may need to park on the local residential roads.

Make sure that you are respectful of our neighbours and do not block access to driveways or footways and make sure larger vehicles or emergency services can get by.

You can find us on Grimsbury Road, Kingswood, Bristol, BS15 9SE.

From Kingswood, take the A420 Bristol Chippenham Road. Turn onto the Avon Right Road towards Bath and Brislington. At the first roundabout turn right up the hill and turn right at the mini roundabout and Grimsbury Farm is on the right.
