Manage your council tax online
You need a South Gloucestershire Council account to view and manage your council tax information online.
This will allow you to:
- get your council tax bills online instead of by post
- spread the cost by paying your council tax by monthly direct debit
- check your balance, payments and bills
- tell us you are moving
- apply for single person discount
Once you have logged in you will be asked for your billing number, which starts with a ‘4’, and can be found on your council tax bill.
From April 2024 the dates for direct debit payments will change from the 12th and 20th of the month to the 4th and 25th of the month. Details of your date will be on your annual bill and council tax online account.
This service is currently unavailable between 9.30pm and 3am daily.
