Kingswood Park is an active urban park with facilities for leisure, recreation and sport.

It is in the early stages of being restored and finalised plans will be submitted to the National Lottery Heritage Fund in 2023 to seek £2.5 million to improve the park.

The park is located in Kingswood in South Gloucestershire. It is next to Kingswood High Street and Hollow Road.

There is limited free on street parking. 

Facilities 

Kingswood Park has the following facilities:

  • play area
  • tennis courts
  • public toilets (accessed from Kingswood High Street)
  • formal gardens and rose arch
  • bowls club

Disabled access

Disabled access is currently limited as it is a sloping site and surfacing of paths in poor in places. This is one of our priorities for restoring Kingswood Park with our National Lottery Heritage Fund.

Bus routes

The park can be easily accessed by bus and the stop is located on Kingswood High Street. For more information on bus services to the park visit Travelwest.

Park hire

To hold an event at the park you can apply to hold an event in a public space or park

Group visits

Group visits must be booked in advance to make sure group safety is balanced with the needs of all park users.
