The Chair’s annual community awards recognise and celebrate the valuable contribution local unpaid volunteers make to life in South Gloucestershire.

You can nominate an individual or group who has made a difference to your community. Awards will reflect volunteer work in areas that contribute to our Council Plan goals:

  • responding to the climate and nature emergency
  • promoting equality and inclusion
  • supporting children and young people to thrive
  • supporting community wellbeing and independence
  • building better places

The winners will be notified and invited to a prestigious awards evening in January 2026.
