Community awards
The Chair’s annual community awards recognise and celebrate the valuable contribution local unpaid volunteers make to life in South Gloucestershire.
You can nominate an individual or group who has made a difference to your community. Awards will reflect volunteer work in areas that contribute to our Council Plan goals:
- responding to the climate and nature emergency
- promoting equality and inclusion
- supporting children and young people to thrive
- supporting community wellbeing and independence
- building better places

The winners will be notified and invited to a prestigious awards evening in January 2026.
