Adoption is all about making a positive difference to a child’s life and providing a stable, loving and permanent home for a child who is not able to live with their birth family.
Adoption West is the adoption agency for South Gloucestershire and other local councils.
What Adoption West do
Adoption West offer advice and support if you are considering adopting a child or children or if you live in one of the areas listed and have already adopted.
Adoption West’s team are available to advise on:
- adopting a child or children
- non-agency partner adoption (previously known as step-parent adoption)
- adoption support including information on The Adoption Support Fund
- Birth Links (a support service for adopted adults and for birth relatives affected by adoption)
