Repay a Housing Benefit overpayment
An overpayment of Housing Benefit happens when we have paid you more benefit than you are entitled to. If you have been overpaid, we will send you an invoice to pay the money back.
If the overpayment is more than £150 your invoice will be split into 10 instalments. You can also arrange to pay in instalments if you cannot pay a smaller invoice in full.
Call us on 01454 868002 or visit one of our One Stop Shops to arrange new instalment amounts and dates or if you have any other questions about your invoice.
You can pay in many ways including online, by phone and by direct debit.
