Join the Summer Reading Challenge 6 July to 14 September
Open to all primary school aged children, it’s free and fun.
Read any books you like (yes we really mean any books) and collect stickers and rewards. Some of the stickers are even stinky!
Join at any South Gloucestershire library listed below during staffed hours from Saturday 6 July and pick up your free activity bag. You can also take part at our pop-up community libraries at Severn Beach and Hawkesbury Upton.

Puppetry Workshop with Tiny and Tall Productions
Award-winning theatre company Tiny and Tall Productions (The Detective Dog, The Anarchist’s Mobile Library, The Selfish Giant) will be inspiring a generation of marvellous makers with their fun and inclusive puppet-making workshops.
The workshops will begin with all children making their own humanoid puppet out of simple materials. In the final half an hour, Tiny and Tall puppeteers will show their beautiful professionally made puppets allowing the children to have a go with them and learning basic puppetry skills to bring their own puppet alive.
Children attending must be 6 years or older and accompanied by an adult. Places are limited for this activity. Book your tickets on Eventbrite from1 July.
