To help enrich our high streets, grants of £1,000 to £5,000 are available for local organisations and community groups to put on creative and cultural activities in these areas.

Examples of activities include local festivals, public art, music performances, story walks, high street trails, workshops or demonstrations.

The grant may be used to pay for:

  • expenses for volunteers
  • creative practitioner fees
  • materials and equipment to deliver the activity
  • marketing and promotion

We cannot accept applications from individuals, businesses or ‘for profit’ organisations.

The funding for the grants comes from the West of England Mayoral Combined Authority’s Regional Recovery Fund.

We publish all community grant awards on our open data webpage.
