Waste and recycling
Recycling centres
The Sort It recycling centres close at 2pm on 24 December and are closed all day on 25, 26 December and 1 January. Find a tip or recycling centre.
Collections
You can check your collection dates over Christmas and New Year. Collections return to normal the week beginning 13 January 2025.
We can collect wrapping paper and greetings cards for recycling if they do not have glitter, plastic or foil decorations. Just put them inside a recyclable gift bag or small cardboard box and put them out with your recycling.

Grimsbury Community Farm
Closed to the public from 1pm on Tuesday 24 December until 9am on Thursday 2 January 2025.
