Outdoor sports facilities
There are many opportunities to play outdoor sports in South Gloucestershire. Some of the facilities are used by clubs but are also open to the public.
Facilities
Page Park has:
- one senior football pitch
- one cricket pitch
- floodlit tennis courts and pavilion
- a bowling green with a pavilion
Kingswood Park has:
- tennis courts
- a bowling green with a pavilion
Sports pitch updates

All pitches are currently playable.
If the weather deteriorates, our groundsmen will make an inspection of the pitches 30 minutes before kick-off and their decisions on whether they are playable on the day are final.

Booking
Cricket and football pitches
Cricket and football pitches are hired out to clubs on a seasonal basis but you may be able to hire them on occasional dates.

Bowling greens
Bowling greens are hired out to bowling clubs on a seasonal basis. However one rink at each green is available for public use.

Tennis courts
It is free to use the tennis courts at Page Park and Kingswood Park on an ad hoc basis. However priority is given to those who have made a block booking in advance for which there is an hourly charge for the use of the courts.
The minimum charge for block bookings is equivalent to one court for 6 hours. You need to give a notice period of at least 2 working days.

Charges
Listed below are the charges from 1 April 2024 to 31 March 2025. These may be subject to VAT.
Football
Adults senior pitches:
£113 per match.
Includes the pitch, posts and use of the pavilion.
Teams must supply their own nets and corner flags.
Youth Teams Senior and Junior pitches:
£56.80 per match.
Includes the pitch, posts and use of the pavilion.
Teams must supply their own nets and corner flags.
9v9:
£35.50 per match.
Includes the pitch only.
Teams must supply their own goals, nets and corner flags.
Under-10s (7v7) pitches:
£28.50 per match.
Includes the pitch only.
Teams must supply their own goals, nets and corner flags.
Cricket
Adults:
£116.60 per match.
Includes the pitch and the pavilion with the use of a kitchen area.
Teams must supply their own stumps, scoreboard and tea making equipment.
Juniors:
£58.30 per match
Includes the pitch and the pavilion with the use of a kitchen area
Teams must supply their own stumps, scoreboard and tea making equipment
Tennis
Adults:
£11.30 (no floodlights) per court per hour, £16.80 (with floodlights) per court per hour. VAT may also apply.
Juniors:
£6 (no floodlights) per court per hour, £11 (with floodlights) per court per hour. VAT may also apply.
There is a minimum block booking of 6 to hire the tennis courts.
Personal training
6 month permit:
£192.50 off peak October to March (single site, 6 hours per week max)
6 month permit:
£242.50 off peak April to September (single site, 6 hours per week max)
12 month permit:
£384.60 flat rate (single site, 6 hours per week max)
