The Joint Waste Core Strategy guides decisions about where waste management facilities should be located within the West of England.
The four West of England unitary authorities
- South Gloucestershire
- Bristol City
- Bath & North East Somerset
- North Somerset Councils
adopted the Joint Waste Core Strategy on 25 March 2011.
The policies in this document take the place of a number of policies in the Minerals and Waste Local Plan.
