Greening the High Street grant
Funding for new planting schemes for South Gloucestershire’s local high streets or shopping centres.
Adding planting can improve an area’s character and attractiveness for local residents, visitors and businesses. They also create shelter and habitats for nature and can help improve local air quality.
This grant is funded through the UK government’s UK Shared Prosperity Fund.
Who can apply
You can apply for a grant of up to £4,000 if you are a:
- voluntary or community group
- charitable or social enterprise organisation
- town or parish council
- other group registered on the grants system
Suitable schemes for the grant should:
- align with the principles in the Greening the High Street brochure
- be installed either in or close to a high street or local shopping area
