Core Strategy 2006-2027

The Core Strategy document sets out a vision for future development in South Gloucestershire to 2027. It covers the general location, type and scale of development as well as protecting what is valued about the area.   

As well as looking at eight key issues developed with our partner organisations and communities, it also considers  

• the vision of the South Gloucestershire Sustainable Community Strategy
• feedback – concerns, issues and priorities coming from engagement and consultation work
• the vision for the West of England 

The Core Strategy was adopted on 11 December 2013.
