Community grants for supporting the resettlement of refugees and asylum seekers
Grants between £200 and £10,000 are available to community groups and organisations who wish to help support refugees and asylum seekers in South Gloucestershire.
Grants will be available until the end of March 2024 or until the funding has been fully allocated.
Who can apply
You can apply for a grant as a community group or organisation.
Priority will be given to applications that demonstrate the potential for making a positive impact on supporting the integration of refugees and asylum seekers in South Gloucestershire.
Applicants should demonstrate that their project will empower local communities. Proposals may include activities, social and cultural events, training or individual or group support for one of more cohorts of resettling communities.
Funding will only be considered for projects in South Gloucestershire. These include:
- social enterprise organisations
- parish and town councils
- community groups
- charities
- volunteer groups
- voluntary and community sector enterprises

What happens next
Submitted applications will be reviewed by a panel every two weeks. You will receive notification of the panel’s decision within one month of us receiving your application.
