Priority Services Register 

The Priority Services Register is a free service run by utility companies for people who need extra support.  

Eligibility  

You are eligible if you: 

  • have reached state pension age 
  • are pregnant or have young children
  • are disabled 
  • have a long-term medical condition

How to sign up  

Gas and Electricity 

Each energy supplier has its own Priority Services Register. You will need to contact your energy supplier to sign up.  

You can find their contact details on your bill or you can find your energy supplier on the Ofgem website.   

You can also sign up to the register online on the National Grid website. 

Water  

You can sign up online on the Bristol Water website.
