Full UK parliamentary general election results – 4 July 2024

Labour won 33.7% of the popular vote. 

Thornbury and Yate constituency result

Claire Louise Young (Liberal Democrat) was elected as MP for the Thornbury and Yate constituency with 39% vote share. 

Filton and Bradley Stoke constituency result

Claire Hazelgrove (Labour) was elected as MP for the Filton and Bradley Stoke constituency with 45.5% vote share.

89.97% voted in favour of Thornbury Neighbourhood Plan.

Oldbury Neighbourhood Plan referendum – 31 March 2022
78.53% voted in favour of Oldbury Neighbourhood Plan.

Thornbury Parish Poll – Thornbury High Street 26 May 2022 
The majority of voters voted in favour of Thornbury High Street being returned to its pre-pandemic status for all vehicles and timed parking bays on both sides of the carriageway.
