Cemeteries other than those detailed on this page are likely to be the responsibility of a church or local town or parish council.

All burials or interments of cremated remains must be done through your funeral director.

Our cemeteries

Filton cemetery

This cemetery opened in 1947 providing traditional and infant burial. There is also a pea gravel garden of remembrance for cremation caskets.

Burial

This cemetery is now full. There are no new adult graves available. We only have new burial graves available for children. There is no option to pre-purchase a grave at this cemetery.

Cremation

Cremation graves are still available.

Location

Coldharbour Lane, Filton, Bristol BS16 1QD (opposite the University of the West of England)

Kingswood Remembrance Park

This is our newest cemetery which opened in 2010. It has beautiful and inspiring views over South Gloucestershire.

Burial

It has traditional, lawn and infant sections with space for new burial graves. You can pre-purchase a grave at this cemetery.

Cremation

The only option for the interment of cremated remains is within a grave. We do not allow any scattering of ashes within the cemetery grounds.

Bench plaques

You can purchase a lease for bench plaque at this cemetery.

Memorial trees

We do not have any more memorial trees available.

Mangotsfield cemetery

This cemetery was created in 1880 and is the oldest of the cemeteries maintained by us.

Burial

This cemetery is now full. There are no new adult graves available. We only have new burial graves available for children. There is no option to pre-purchase a grave at this cemetery.

Cremation

There are existing cremation sections but there is no space for new cremation graves.

There is a columbarium which has niches for the interment of caskets of cremated remains.

Mayshill cemetery

This is a small cemetery which opened in 1973. It is in a peaceful rural location off the Badminton Road between Yate and Coalpit Heath.

Burial

It has traditional, lawn and infant sections. You can pre-purchase a grave at this cemetery.

Cremation

There is a pea gravel garden of remembrance for cremation caskets. Cremation graves are still available.

Mangotsfield chapel

There is a small chapel at Mangotsfield cemetery seating approximately 50 people. This can be hired prior to an interment at any of our cemeteries.
