Avon and Somerset Police and Crime Commissioner election 2024
The next scheduled election for the Police and Crime Commissioner will be held on Thursday 2 May 2024.

Elections will happen in the Avon and Somerset Police Area and other police force areas in England and Wales. Each area will elect one Police and Crime Commissioner.
The Police and Crime Commissioner elected in May will serve for four years.

The last date to register to vote in this election was midnight on Tuesday 16 April 2024.

The deadline to apply for a voter authority certificate for this election if you don’t have eligible photo ID is 5pm on Wednesday 24 April 2024 .
