CAP Foodbank
CAP Foodbank usually supports clients of the Bristol North East Christians Against Poverty Debt Centre which Christ Church Downend sponsors. In this period we aim to support anyone in financial need. Food parcels are delivered to local families by members of the congregation and volunteers from Christ Church Junior School’s governing body. Volunteers welcome.

Carers Support Centre
Carers Support Centre is working locally to support carers of all ages through this very challenging time. Services include information and advice, carers assessments, counselling, befriending, employment support, virtual carers’ groups, online training, and the Carers Emergency Card.
Assessments, reviews, support, advice and information services are currently all being provided by telephone.

Charlton & Cribbs Volunteers Group
A team of 73 volunteers based in Charlton & Cribbs ward dedicated to supporting residents across Charlton Hayes, Patchway and Cribbs Causeway. We aim to share official advice and information and assist in supplying the vulnerable and the quarantined with food.
