How to avoid catching or spreading coronavirus
The NHS website has more information about how you can avoid catching or spreading coronavirus.
The main way to avoid the spread is to wash your hands with soap and water often – do this for at least 20 seconds and always wash your hands when you get home or into work. Use hand sanitiser gel if soap and water are not available.
Stay at home
You must stay at home apart from essential travel. The exceptions are shopping for basic necessities, one form of daily exercise, any medical need and travelling to and from essential work. You should stay at least 2 metres (6ft) away from other people and wash your hands as soon as you get home.
Visit the NHS website for stay at home advice if you have coronavirus symptoms.
