Your care and support needs
Care and support can include help with things like getting out and about and being part of your local community, technology to help you live independently, eating regular nutritious meals, and access to equipment that will help you with the daily tasks you find difficult.
If you feel you need further care and support, such as regular home care visits, residential care or specialist equipment, for example a stairlift, you can contact us to request help to put this in place.
Helping you make informed decisions
Before requesting help for care and support you can read the detailed information, advice and guidance available, which we have provided links to on the next page.
For care arranged by the council you can get an idea of what the costs could be. Our care cost calculator will give you an estimate of how much you may need to pay towards long-term residential care, care in your home or a short stay in a residential home. It is a confidential and easy-to-use tool.
